Open the new file in the target desk's offline editor, confirm patching, save, and load it on the console.

Each desk is tested against real show files saved on the hardware. New desks are added as their tests pass.

per converted show. No subscription.
- The preview is free, so you know what transfers before paying.
- One price per show file, however many channels it has.
- If the converted file does not load on the target desk, you get a refund.
- Files are converted in memory and never stored on our servers.
Questions
Will it sound exactly the same?
No converter can promise that. EQ curves, compressors and preamps behave differently on every desk. Desklate carries over the values so you start from your mix instead of a blank file, then you trim by ear.
What doesn't transfer?
Effects and plug-in settings, I/O patching to stageboxes, and anything the target desk does not have. The report lists each of these for your show before you pay.
The target desk has fewer channels or mixes than mine.
Channels and mixes transfer in order until the desk is full. The report names every one that didn't fit.
Can I convert between two desks of the same brand?
Yes, where the manufacturer does not already offer a free converter for that pair.
